Greenfinch Now Covers 300,000+ Commercial Properties in Dallas County

·3 min read

We have completed our integration with the Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD), making Greenfinch the most comprehensive source of sales-ready commercial property data in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

What is included

Over 300,000 commercial and multifamily parcels in Dallas County are now searchable in Greenfinch, including:

  • Building characteristics — Year built, total building square footage, number of floors, building class, and construction type for every commercial property.
  • System data — AC type, heating type, roof cover type, and exterior wall material where available in DCAD records. This is the data that HVAC contractors, roofers, and other building service companies need to target properties by system age and type.
  • Lot and landscape data — Total lot acreage, building footprint, landscapable square footage, and roof area. Essential for landscaping, parking lot maintenance, and roofing companies.
  • Ownership records — Account owner names, entity structures, and mailing addresses sourced directly from DCAD. Greenfinch's AI then resolves LLC structures to identify beneficial owners.
  • Appraisal values — Assessed and market values, improvement values, and land values for filtering and prioritization.

Why DCAD data matters

DCAD is the authoritative source for commercial property information in Dallas County. But raw DCAD data is formatted for tax assessment, not sales prospecting. Records use inconsistent naming conventions, property classifications are designed for appraisers rather than service companies, and ownership is recorded at the entity level without resolving to individuals.

Greenfinch cleans, normalizes, and enriches DCAD data so commercial service companies can search and filter it intuitively — by the metrics that actually matter for their business.

Combined with AI research

DCAD data provides the property foundation. Greenfinch's AI research layer adds what county records cannot provide:

  • Property management company identification
  • LLC ownership resolution to beneficial owners
  • Decision-maker discovery and contact verification
  • Property classification and building class assessment

Together, DCAD data and AI research give you a complete picture of every commercial property in Dallas County — from the building's physical characteristics to the person who signs the service contract.

What is next

We are expanding data coverage to Travis County (Austin), Harris County (Houston), and Bexar County (San Antonio) in the coming months. If you are prospecting in DFW today, get early access to start using Greenfinch.
